What is vapour blasting?
Vapour blasting, also known as wet blasting, is an innovative surface finishing technique that effectively cleans and restores surfaces using a mixture of water, abrasive media, and compressed air.
How does it work?
The media is propelled onto surfaces under controlled pressure and gently removes contaminants, corrosion, and coatings while minimising material loss. The water used acts a cushion that prevents the surface of the metal being damaged in any way.
Why use vapour blasting?
Unlike traditional methods, vapour blasting preserves the integrity of the underlying material, offering a precise and thorough approach to restoring old metals. It provides the majority of benefits from both sand-blasting and Ultra-sonic cleaning, without the side effects, at a fraction of the cost and time.

For restoration.
On any and all classic cars and motorbikes.
For example, when a high satin shine is needed on a part that isn't painted. Best results are on exposed aluminium such as inlet manifolds and carburettors.

For removing carbon.
The impact of the glass media, as well as the force of the water, works wonders on removing carbon deposits from engines. A massive result is achieved almost instantly on a separated cylinder head and likewise on the valves.

For exposing Carbon Fibre.
Vapour blasting has the unique benefit of being non-invasive and will not open the weave on carbon fibre.
This makes the process excellent for stripping paint or lacquer from any sensitive race made part.

For super cleaning antiques.
The above door knocker has received a new lease of life since going through our machine. See the photos on our Instagram for the amazing difference it could have on your silverware as well.
No old polish, no dulling with age, no damage to your valuables.

Vapour blasting, also known as wet blasting, delicately cleans and polishes surfaces using a mixture of water, abrasive media, and compressed air. This process removes contaminants, corrosion, and coatings while keeping the material intact.
It's versatile and suitable for various materials like aluminium, steel, brass, and alloys.
Compared to Sandblasting, vapour blasting provides a more gentle cleaning action with no material loss, resulting in a more smooth finish.
Choosing vapour blasting enhances parts' appearance with a uniform matte finish, removing imperfections, rust, and oxidation while preserving intricate details. It also improves coating and paint the appearance of paints applied, extending parts' lifespan.
